While in a line-up at TCAF this weekend I got to meet a father and son that were waiting to have a book
signed by Svetlana Chmakova. I felt so lucky to be in line next to
them. They were so genuine and nice and we soon got into conversations
about books and movies.
When I mentioned that I had the pleasure
of working on “The Little Prince”, they told me how much they loved it.
The son’s face especially light up so much and I can’t truly describe
the joy at seeing something that I was a part of touch someone so
genuinely. Meeting them was something really special that has had me
smiling for days. As a thank you, I sent them this drawing.
