Learning is the beginning of happiness

I was watching an interview with actress Lin I-Chen last week and she said this:
"Learning is the beginning of Happiness"

I thought that was a really beautiful statement.

Hey Anne-Marie. Actually I used watercolors and white gouache for this. I put some pencil crayon ontop at the end.
I did try the watercolor inks on another piece. Something strange started to happen when I used water with them though, because the colors separate. Green would have splotches of yellow and blue at the edges. I have to try a bit more to see if maybe I'm not using them correctly.

Nice draw, I like the flexibility that has the line, it seems the character it's alive.
