I’m not really sure if this is very successful, but I tried to do a somewhat abstract/impressionistic painting of If I have time, I would love to do more drawings of her and the other “ The Force awakens” cast. I’m so excited for the next movie. But the waiting is so hard xD!

 

Blue Hair

Everywhere I walk, blue hair seems to be the rage these days. And it looks so good on people!

Bubblegum

I saw so many women with incredible hairstyles this week. The one that stood out the most a girl that had hair that went from pink hair all the way to blue. It looked so good on her!

The little girl

The little girl in the film “The little prince” never had an official name. In my mind she was secretly named Amelia in honour of Amelia Earhart. This is a picture of Amelia going off to college. She still has the aviators scarf and the fox never leaves her side.

I think she would have become a wonderful grown-up that never lost track of the wonder this world has to offer :)

EliOli Tutorial

I tried my hands at copying a wonderful art tutorial that ELIOLI put onto their tumblr.

Trying to analyse why an artist made a certain choice is always fascinating, but getting to hear from the artist themselves always brings a wonderful insight into what goes on in their mind.

The Little Prince

I’m so excited about the news that “The Little Prince” opened on NETFLIX (See the trailer here)

For those of you who don't know I got the chance to animate on the movie. It was such an honour to work on this project and I cannot describe to you how happy I am for the director Mark Osborne, who poured his heart and soul into this film. I have so many wonderful memories from working on this film and I hope that it will touch your hearts as much as it touched the people that made this film.

This picture was made in dedication to our animation director Jason Boose who is filled with patience and really wants each animators voice to be heard. Thank you Jason!!

I had a little bit of time to play around with new brushes and some colour. I always thought I was a drawer and never believed I had either a colour sense nor that I would be able to paint. But after learning how to draw I feel like as long as you put enough time into something there is nothing you can't learn.

It's been so fun delving more into the colour side of art these past few months.
