I found Chloe really hard to draw. I think especially in this image she doesn't quite look right so I apologize for that in advance. That said, I still like the atmosphere in this drawing though so I thought I would post it none the less.

The Summoning

I just read Kelly Armstrong's book: 'The Summoning', which my friend Anne-Marie lent to me. We both love the characters Derek and Chloe, so there will be lots more drawings of them coming up. Some of them are from what happens in the books, but there are some that I just came up with as situations for the character. These are the characters from the second book "The Awakening"

We always go sketching on Saturday and my friends Faith and Tim both had awesome hair styles happening, so I couldn't resist to draw them ^^

A friend of mine had a great idea. She said she would create 5 pieces of art for 5 friends, who in turn would each also create 5 pieces of art for 5 other people...and so forth.
I thought that was an amazing idea, so I joined up. This first piece was for my friend Tim. They are his characters Mallori and Travis. ^^

More Apple

Meet 'Apple'

When I drew this character, somehow the name 'Apple' came into my head. So I wanted to give her lots of green colors. I still want to play around with different varieties more, but here is one for now.

I was watching an interview with actress Lin I-Chen last week and she said this:
"Learning is the beginning of Happiness"

I thought that was a really beautiful statement.

Forgetfulness

Sorry for the lack of color. I'm not sure where my pencil crayons went off too. I'm hoping that the animation faeries are almost finished using them and will put them back somewhere that I can find them.

We've already had our first big snowfall of the year. Shan-Mei is trying to preserve some for next year.
