I still want to colour this drawing if I get the chance, but just so you have something to look at, last weeks theme was "Pirates"

Next weeks theme is a bit more vague. I believe the wording of it is: "Against the law..."

I mainly concentrated on Titania and Nick Bottom, who head get's turned into a donkey.

Sketching week 01

This post will be a bunch of ruff sketches. I joined a friend in a sketching group. There was only 2 when I joined and now we're up to 5 already ^^. We get a different subject every week, and you have from Sunday to Sunday to do a drawing for the subject. This weeks subject was Pocahontas.










Next weeks subject: "Midsummer Nights Dream"

Man I still have to learn so much about colour. I'm definitely making my mistakes. Here is one that didn't turn out too bad. Still problems though, like a short arm, short pant leg and the cheek is a bit funky. These markers have been such a great investment though!! :D :D :D ....and no ..i'm not just trying to justify spending the money ;)-

Reminiscence

Hi everyone.

I just wanted to post some more marker drawings I did for fun. They were inspired by a Japanese show I saw before I went to college; called "Ranma 1/2". I was watching some of the episodes last weekend and couldn't help but try and draw the characters. Anime is not really a style I draw in, but it was so much fun.

Comics and Markers

I just wanted to shout out a bit CONGRATS to a friend of mine who just completed her first comic. The artist is Faith Hicks, and the comic is called Zombies Calling. It will be published in November. I did a drawing of one of the characters for Faith's B-day.

Other than that, I had the chance to buy some markers YAAAAY ^^. They were on sale at our local art store. So here is a simple image I did just for fun. Still have so much to learn, but thank god drawing is fun, so learning is fun too ^^. Have a nice weekend everyone.

Long time no see

Hi everyone.

Sorry for the long absence of posts. I was trying to abstain from blogging for a while and here we are O_o a year later, i can't believe it.

I feel really bad, humbled and grateful to all the people who have been checking in regularly. I don't know what to say, except "thank you so much"!!

Enough talk though, I'm sure you'd rather look at some images. These are a bit older, but I haven't really shown them to a lot of people. So please enjoy. As you know honest crits are always welcome ^^
